For the most part, we had a relaxing weekend of R&R and quality time as a family. Below, we finally got to have Mother's Day for K's mom and Auntie K's birthday (K's mom was out of town on Mother's Day and K was out of town the following weekend).
We decided to do a low key cookout at the field in our neighborhood...yummy! K cooked cheeseburgers, baked beans, and we had chips/dip, watermelon, muffins, and strawberry shortcake. This was definately the ticket...very relaxing, little prep, and no mess to clean up.
The kids were able to play on the field and at the pool.

CR was loving the muffins...poor thing he was starving. He ate an entire cheeseberger, beans, chips/dip and 2-3 muffins!
P&M play volleyball and later decide to turn the court into a giant sandbox.
Pop is loving the strawberry shortcake! He scrapped the bowl for me! Thanks Pop...I had little to clean up!
CR is pooped from the day and decides to take a rest by the pool at the end of the evening! Thanks for a great time guys! We will have to do it again soon!
