Heart Thrills

I love it when small things thrill my heart...here is a few: The love that these two have for each other already...it is amazing! My heart gets filled with joy every time I see/hear them laughing and playing together!
I am loving playing dress up with my real life baby doll! I am thrilled that I have been blessed with a girl!

My little Tiger! K has been warned (with his life and our marriage...really not far away from joking) that she is mine to brainwash like he has done CR into TN. Clemson stuff is far cuter on this pretty face!

Ah-Ha Moment

I love it when I have an Ah-ha moment and a light bulb goes on in my head (something that doesn't happen as much as I would like or it used to prior to most of my thoughts surrounding my kids, etc.). I had one just the other day though, riding down the rode listening to the radio. In the song, it was referencing the ocean to something (don't even remember what), but I had a reference of my own. So many times I have wondered what I would say to someone if ever asked, "how do you know there is a God if you have never seen him?" Other than God's miracles through my obvious trials and tribulations, which is enough to make someone believe in God, I have continued to search for something else that answers this exact question. And now I have it! I am so excited and eager for someone to ask me that question now that I once was so worried that someone would ask me and I would stumble over the answer.

The answer is: When looking out across the ocean, the human eye can't see land on the other side. However, we believe it is there, and if we look at a map, we can see it there. Well, believing in God is the same...even though I haven't seen him face to face (in human form), I know He exists. The Bible (and works in my life) are proof and are my "map" to show me!

Change

With the change of the season, we also have many other changes in our life right now. Although we are glad about the changes, change is always hard! Here are a few things changing in our household with the coming of Fall!

-Baby C is on the brink of movement! Everyday she inches closer and closer to crawling! She wants to be able to move so bad and as much as I am excited for her accomplishments, our house is not ready for a moving baby (and neither is mommy and daddy...and big brother).

-Ken has changed jobs! Even though I am excited about the change and what a difference it has already made for our family time/time Ken is at home, we are nervous too about the changes it entails.

-We are visiting churches. In attempt to find a church that better suits the needs of our family with kids, we are looking for churches and are so torn. We love the pastor and church family/friends where we were, but change is needed for us. So we have begun visiting...and have found one that is great for our family (although not the same preaching style as we are accustomed to). So we are still trying to determine what is best for our family in this aspect because we know what a difference this can make for us!

These are just a few things of "Change" going on right now for us! Please pray as we try to make important decisions and transition into these changes!
